I was so excited when one of my best friends told me she was pregnant. I was even more excited when she told me she was having TWINS! Sweet little babies. I couldn't wait to photograph them.

Ellie | Newbie : Jacksonville Newborn Photographer

Oh how I love this family! I honestly cannot even tell you how much! I met them almost a year ago at their homecoming and then was absolutely elated when Jess called me a few weeks later to let me know to start planning her early maternity (which I just realized I never blogged!) and full maternity sessions! I was also super stoked to find out they were going to be living here in Jacksonville for a few more years at least! Why? Because they are awesome!

We planned and planned this newborn session and finally the day arrived that I was going to meet sweet little Ellie. I'd looked forward to meeting her for months and it was just heaven to finally get to hold her and talk to her. She's such a good baby! I don't think she cried a peep, though she wasn't 100% sold on the sleeping idea either. But, nevertheless we finished the session. I even got to meet Grandma and Grandpa! It was a whole family shindig!

Since Florida is just so hot during summer, we even decided to do some shots outside since we knew Ellie wouldn't get cold. The outside shots are some of my favorite! Theres just something about a newborn outdoors that makes my heart pitter patter.

So, enough rambling on. I know you are just here for the photos!

Oh this little guy is just so sweet I can hardly stand it. I mean, seriously, how cute is he?

And this little guy? Over a month old! He was a rockstar sleeper too. Amazing.

It was such an honor to photograph this sweet little man at one week old. I love doing Newborn Portraits. They are some of my favorite things ever! Being able to hold sweet new little ones and snuggle them, its just amazing. This little guy really took the cake. He was extra sleepy and extra snuggly! I had such a blast posing him and doing different set ups with him.

Jacksonville Newborn Photographer: Molly | Newbie

I'm so incredibly happy that these clients found me and entrusted me to photograph their sweet little girl. She was just such a cutie pie and so incredibly good. She slept most of the time, only waking when she was hungry.  Towards the end, she did wake up and was just the most curious little one. She looked around at everything and you could tell she was just working everything out. Such a precious little one!

Well I'd like to introduce you to their sweet little son, Chase. What a wonderful little guy! He slept so soundly and we just had such a fun, relaxing session, which is just how a newborn session should be! Welcome to the world, Little Chase! I can't wait to watch you grow! 

Jacksonville Newborn Photographer: Kaya | Newbie

Ooh how I love listening to adoption stories. They always make me teary eyes. This sweet little one was born on the 6th, exactly ONE WEEK after her parents found out they were chosen by the birth mother. WOW. They had one week to prepare. She contacted me over the weekend asking me to make room in my schedule for her newborn and told me her story. Duh, I definitely wanted to do this shoot. 

However, little miss did NOT want to sleep. Her mom kept apologizing because she always sleeps, so she didn't know why she was so alert. Everytime I'd get her into position, she'd open those sweet little eyes and stretch. Seriously homegirl did not sleep. Once the shoot was done, she zonked out. However, she totally rocked her poses anyway. Such a sweet little girl!

Couldn't decide between black and white and color. I prefer b/w buuuut the tat was so colorful.

Grandma made this blanket. I loved it, and just had to incorporate it.

This is mom's doll cradle from when she was a child. I fell in love!

Someone just had a baby!

That's right, my good friends just welcomed their sweet little Adeline into the world, and just in time for Christmas! I got to play with her today and let me tell you, she is a grade A snuggle bug! She was just so easy going and such a great little poser. Even wide awake, she was so chill and just was a pleasure to photograph. Here's a few (ton) of my favorite shots of the day.
