Jacksonville FL Family Photographer: H | Family

I can't even begin to tell you how much of an honor it is when I get an inquiry from a fellow photographer wanting me to do their family photos. That's how it was when Mary contacted me. She's an awesome local photographer that I met on a photography board. It was super fun meeting up with her. Her daughter and my daughter are almost the same age, so I'm sure we'll end up having some fun play dates in the future!

We met up in Arlington and did a gorgeous evening session. They were dressed impeccably and you could just feel the love this family has for each other. I loved being able to capture that and give them beautiful family photos.

Enjoy your sneak H family!

Orange Park Newborn Photographer: Adam And Rose

I was so excited when one of my best friends told me she was pregnant. I was even more excited when she told me she was having TWINS! Sweet little babies. I couldn't wait to photograph them.

Meet sweet newborn twins, Adam and Rose. Aren't they precious??

Ellie | Newbie : Jacksonville Newborn Photographer

Oh how I love this family! I honestly cannot even tell you how much! I met them almost a year ago at their homecoming and then was absolutely elated when Jess called me a few weeks later to let me know to start planning her early maternity (which I just realized I never blogged!) and full maternity sessions! I was also super stoked to find out they were going to be living here in Jacksonville for a few more years at least! Why? Because they are awesome!

We planned and planned this newborn session and finally the day arrived that I was going to meet sweet little Ellie. I'd looked forward to meeting her for months and it was just heaven to finally get to hold her and talk to her. She's such a good baby! I don't think she cried a peep, though she wasn't 100% sold on the sleeping idea either. But, nevertheless we finished the session. I even got to meet Grandma and Grandpa! It was a whole family shindig!

Since Florida is just so hot during summer, we even decided to do some shots outside since we knew Ellie wouldn't get cold. The outside shots are some of my favorite! Theres just something about a newborn outdoors that makes my heart pitter patter.

So, enough rambling on. I know you are just here for the photos!

Jacksonville Newborn Photographer: Jack is here!

It was such an honor to photograph this sweet little man at one week old. I love doing Newborn Portraits. They are some of my favorite things ever! Being able to hold sweet new little ones and snuggle them, its just amazing. This little guy really took the cake. He was extra sleepy and extra snuggly! I had such a blast posing him and doing different set ups with him.

Welcome to the world sweet Jack!

Jacksonville Florida Photographer: Before and After

I've had a ton of requests on my facebook page recently for before and after shots. I've shared a few there but thought I'd share some on my blog too. So, I'm hoping to make this a recurring theme on my blog.

Photographers don't just take a photo and slap it on a disc, or print it out for you and call it a day? There's many hours behind the scenes that goes in to making your custom portrait session truly something unique. I don't just take photos, I create art that is meant to be hung on your walls. Any good photographer will do this. They want you to love your photos and spend countless hours perfecting your photos so they are truly memories you will cherish forever.

Here's a quick before and after from a recent beach session. The before, straight out of camera shot is perfectly fine on its own. However, it wasn't fully polished. A little time and viola, artwork meant to hang on the family's wall.
